INSTRUCTIONS
1: Enter MIPS eligible provider:
- Choose Provider Type: Individual or Group
- If reporting as an Individual: Enter individual NPI and TIN used on Medicare claims. Click "Add provider".
- If reporting as a Group: Enter TIN used on Medicare claims. Click "Add provider".
2: Determine Your Reporting Goals:
- Avoid Penalty:
- Click on Add/Edit to the right of QM (Quality Measures)
- Click on "Create patient records", choose "Choose MIPS quality measure" and enter one patient record
- Return to "Home", click on Add/Edit to the right of QM, and click on "Next Step" to proceed through the "Review Data" and "Score Data" steps, so the quality data is scored
- Sign a MIPS consent and submit payment.
- Maximize Revenue:
- Report Your Quality Data:
- Option 1: You can manually enter patient data by clicking on the "Create patient records" icon OR by using the Data Grid icon (type in or paste multiple patient records).
- Option 2: Download MDinteractive Excel templates and upload your Excel data files into File Storage area of your account. MDinteractive will process them for you.
- Option 3: If you are entering your quality data onto a custom template (CSV, Excel, QRDA III), please upload a sample file into the File Storage area of your account and MDinteractive will contact you with feedback. Providers who have the ability to provide files derived directly from their EHR should send us a sample file first.
- Option 4: If your EHR has a Quality Dashboard, please upload a screenshot into the File Storage area of your account and MDinteractive will let you know if we can use it.
- Report Promoting Interoperability Category
- Next to PI, click on "Add/Edit Measures".
- Enter your reporting period.
- Complete the pre-attestation (required).
- Enter the Numerator and Denominator, derived from reports run off of your EHR, for each measure.
- Report Improvement Activities Category:
- Next to IA, click on "Add/Edit Measures".
- Enter your reporting period.
- Click "Add" to each activity that you performed for at least 90 consecutive days.
- Report Your Quality Data:
3: Payment:
- Pay submission fee to MDinteractive using your credit card. Indicate number of MIPS categories being submitted (1,2 or 3). If reporting as a Group, please indicate number of providers that belong to the TIN.
- Each provider needs to sign a MIPS consent form.
- MDinteractive will submit your data to Medicare by March 31.
